Here is Rudbeckia triloba-she will bloom from August until the first frost.
Rudbeckia triloba |
My pick for top pollinator attractor-Agastache foeniculum. It attracts butterflies, bees and Hummingbirds like crazy.
Another Rudbeckia-this one is called Rudbeckia submentosa. It is taller than regular Black eyed Susans:
Mimulus ringens also known as Monkey Flower. This one is just a baby.
Ligualria dentata-always a star in the garden. With these leaves she doesn't even need flowers.
A rogue daylily reblooming.
Lobelia cardinalis-what a beauty this one is. This is definitely one plant worth waiting for every year! (these pics were taken at the end of July)
A phlox:
Geranium "Rozanne" still going strong-
Salvia sylvestris blooming since June:
Another Lobelia-Lobelia siphilicata being visited by a Hummingbird Moth:
Thalictrum rochebrunianum:
Candy and Blackberry Lilies:
And finally Echinacea purpurea going full force:
There were so many flowers blooming I wish I could have shared them all with you! Some of the ones I left out are: Veronicastrum virginicum, Cimifuga racemosa, Ligularia japonica, Ratibida pinnata, Coreopsis, and a few others. I do hope you enjoy the flowers I did share with you. As always if you have any questions about cultural requirements or where to get these beauties feel free to leave a comment or email me.
As always-Happy Planting!
Rhonda
